Go Young-jun, Bako, Baek Seung-ho, and Jeong Min-kyu nominated for K League 1 Player of the Month for May

The Korea Professional Football Association today announced the four nominees for the May EA SPORTS K League Player of the Month award.

The award, presented by EA Sports, recognizes the best player of the month in the K League, English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga, and French Ligue 1.

The winner of the Player of the Month award is determined by a first round of voting by the TSG Technical Committee (60%), followed by a second round of voting by K League fans (25%) and FIFA Online 4 users (15%).

The winner of the Player of the Month award will receive a trophy and wear the Player of the Month patch on their jersey for the season.

They will also be recognized as Player of the Month on their FIFA Online 4 player card.

Nominated for the second consecutive month, Go scored two goals and provided one assist in all five matches in May.

Most notably, he scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Jeonbuk Hyundai in Round 15, which was played as part of Pohang’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Baek Seung-ho scored three goals in four games to spark Jeonbuk’s rebound.

Ulsan’s Bako has been on fire with three goals in five games.

Lee Min-kyu also scored three goals in five games, most notably a dramatic 3-3 tie in stoppage time against Daejeon Hana Citizens in Round 15 to save Ulsan from defeat.먹튀검증

This is his second award of the season after winning the February/March Player of the Month honor.

Fans can vote on the Kick application. Each user can vote once per day, and the voting period will run from Nov. 11 to midnight on Nov. 14.
