– Do you have any advice from your father Lee Eul-yong or your brother Lee Tae-seok (FC Seoul)?

– What do you want to show on the national team?
I want to show my spirited side and my strong point, reckless side, in the arena. My strength is that off the ball movement is good when there is no ball. He also has confidence in defense and one-on-one fights, and has the tenacity to keep going even if things go wrong.
– How do you feel about being called to the national team for the first time?
It’s good because it’s my first selection, but I’m also nervous. I still can’t feel it. When you enter the training ground, you will feel it to some extent.
– Were you expecting to be selected?
I hadn’t thought about it at all. I couldn’t believe it at first. It was only when I saw the list posted on the Korea Football Association (KFA) Instagram that I realized a little bit.
– Manager Kim Eun-joong said that it would be nice if the players who didn’t get a chance show more of themselves.
That’s right. I didn’t get a chance, so I was convened this time. I want to use this opportunity to advance to the World Cup.
