Reporter Han Nam-jik = Derek Jeter (49), a legendary shortstop in the American professional baseball major leagues, will start anew as a commentator.
On the 13th (Korean time), US Fox Sports announced on its social network service (SNS) that “Jitter will join the major league commentators this season.”
Fox Sports made a surprise announcement that Jeter would join the commentators at the outdoor event at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, USA, where the NFL Super Bowl, the largest festival in American professional sports, was in progress.

David Otis, who played for the Yankees’ rival Boston Red Sox, is also a Fox Sports commentator.
“I visited the Fox Sports cast during the World Series last year in Philadelphia, and Otis showed off his World Series ring. I joined the commentators to humble Otis,” Jeter joked.
Otis has experienced a total of three World Series championships in 2004, 2007 and 2013.
