Prior to the 2022-23 season, Lee Go-eun, who wore a Pepper Savings Bank uniform as a free agent player, transferred to Korea Expressway Corporation as a compensation player following the recruitment of Park Jung-ah in the FA market. Another pillar of this trade is Choi Ga-in, a tall middle blocker. Choi Ga-eun joined IBK Industrial Bank in the 5th overall in the 2019-20 season. He stepped up as the main middle blocker for two seasons after wearing the Pepper Savings Bank uniform last year through a special nomination for the new team in 2021.
