Moon Dae-hyun Reporter = South Korea’s women’s national baseball team suffered its second straight loss in Group A qualifying for the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women’s Baseball World Cup 2024.
The 10th-ranked team, led by Yang Sang-moon, lost 0-14 in five innings to the United States (4th) in their second qualifying game in Thunder Bay, Canada, on Tuesday (10).
The Koreans, who had come from behind to lose their first game against Hong Kong 8-9 the previous day (9 September), also lost to the USA, making it virtually impossible for them to qualify for next year’s final round.
Korea started the game lethargically, conceding five runs in the first inning alone. Trailing 0-7 after three innings, Korea gave up a total of seven runs in the fourth and fifth innings.안전놀이터
