‘Two-hit, two-run explosion’ Lee becomes 110th player to reach 500 career hits

Kiwoom Heroes outfielder Lee Jung-hoo (25) reached 500 career RBIs on Monday.

Lee batted third in the lineup against the LG Twins at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Aug. 8, and with runners on first and third, he drove a fastball from LG starter Kim Yoon-sik to left-center field for a two-run double.

The hit gave Lee his 500th career RBI. The 500th RBI is the 110th all-time in the KBO.

After debuting with the Nexen Heroes in 2017, Lee collected 101 RBIs in his fourth year and 113 RBIs last year en route to winning five batting titles and being 먹튀검증 named the KBO League Most Valuable Player (MVP).

After struggling to adjust to a change in his batting stance at the start of this season, Lee has returned to showing off his batting talent at a frightening pace. In his last 10 games, he is batting .475 (19-for-40) with three home runs and seven RBIs.
